4th of July Weekend

We started out the holiday weekend by going over to my Uncle Dave and Aunt Taron's on Friday night for a BBQ and the Brunswick fireworks. My experience with the fireworks did not go that well, they definitely scared the crap out of me! It's probably for the best that mommy didn't get any videos. Uncle Dave took some pictures so hopefully mommy will post them at a later date.

On Saturday the 4th we went over to my Aunt Cathy and Uncle Todd's. I was so excited when mommy told me that we were going over there that I broke out my new dance moves. Here I am practicing the moves that I learned from one of my favorite movies, Happy Feet.

Over at the Kahn's house I got to play with all of my cousins and I had a great time! Unfortunately mommy did not get any videos of me there either but here is a family photo.

We finished out the weekend by going to the Splash Pad in Medina on Sunday. It's a playground made out of sprinklers! I was a little unsure of it at first, but after my cousin Emmy showed me the ropes, I couldn't get enough of the water. Here is a short video.

Growing Up So Fast!

I had my 15 month well visit this past week and I'm getting so big! I'm now 26 pounds and 31 inches tall! I'm in the 75th percentile for weight and the 95th percentile for height!

It's no wonder that lately I have had the urge to eat like a big kid. Here is a video of me enjoying my first sub from Subway. Mommy and daddy are wondering where their baby has gone? It seems like just yesterday I was enjoying my first spoonfuls of baby food!

Hide-n-Seek

One of my favorite things to do lately is to find places in the house where I can hide and then have mommy or daddy come and find me. One of my favorite hiding places is behind the rocking chair in my bedroom. Here is a video that mommy tried to catch of me playing this fun game. This doesn't really do it justice, but I still look cute!

My 1st Camping Trip To Allegany

Mommy and I decided to get away for a couple of days this week and we headed up to meet my Nana and Papa at Allegany State Park in New York. They have a yearly tradition of renting out a cottage up there a couple of times each summer. Mommy and daddy hope to make it one of our family traditions as well. Considering I love to be outside all of the time, I had a complete blast there!

I was quite the little camper and even joined in with a couple of drinks while sitting in my own chair by the fire.

Here are Papa and I enjoying a short rest on the bench that they had placed along one of the walkways in memory of Busi (my Great Grandma Bielecki)

My Cousin Brooke's 1st Birthday Party

Last Saturday we went over to my Uncle Dave and Aunt Taron's to celebrate Brooke's 1st birthday. Here are a couple of pictures from the day and a video of me cruising the streets with my cousin Ryan. I wish we could have had some hotter wheels but we had to resort to Lauren's Barbie jeep.

Memorial Day 2009

This year mommy, daddy and I spent the week leading up to Memorial Day down in Houston with my mommy's family. We got to spend some time with my Mam and Pops, my Great Grandma Atkinson, my Uncle Gavin, my Aunt Megan and we met my cousin Amelia for the first time! I loved exploring the house, hanging out with the doggies, running around the yard, going for walks with my Pops and especially swimming in the pool! Here is a video of me practicing my skills with my Pops.

Here is a picture of Amelia taking a snooze. Isn't she cute?!

And here are a couple of shots of me sporting my new haircut that I got a week before our trip. It's almost time for another cut! My hair grows like a weed. I had such a blast and can't wait for my next trip!

A Trip To The Zoo

My mommy and I took a trip to the zoo a couple of weeks ago. It was a cloudy day with rain off and on so it was nice because the zoo was practically empty and mommy let me get out of my stroller and walk around. Here are some videos of me checking out some of the animals.

I didn't care too much for the camels, they were pretty boring.

I was however fascinated by a helicopter that went over us.

I was even able to find a couple of rocks to throw to make myself feel like I was at home "working" with my Grandpa.

But my favorite part of the day was when it started to rain and we went inside to the Rainforest. I found a little turtle in the aquarium that I followed around for about 10 minutes before I moved on to see what else there was.
