Future Best Buddies

As Teddy gets older he is gaining more of an interest in Nate and seems to always be laughing at him. Here is a video of them enjoying some laughs together! I love times like this!

1st Snowfall - December 2010

Thanksgiving 2010

This year we spent Thanksgiving at home and Nona, Pops, and Uncle Gavin all joined us. We went over to Aunt Cathy's house and had a big family dinner! Here are some pictures and videos from the week.

Nate even got to open up an early Christmas present from Nona and Pops since we'll be at their house this year for Christmas and we wouldn't be able to get this one home on the airplane.

Teddy's Baptism

Teddy was baptized at St. Colette Church in Brunswick on November 21, 2010. His godparents are Aunt Cathy and Uncle Gavin. Since Uncle Gavin could not make it in since he was coming in a couple of days later for Thanksgiving, we had Uncle Dave stand in for him. Here are some pictures from the day.

Great Lakes Science Center

A couple of weeks ago I took Nate & Teddy downtown to the Great Lakes Science Center with the Brunswick Preschool PTA. Here are some pictures and videos of Nate exploring and playing!

Leave it to Nate to find a fireman's costume!

It's good to know that maybe Nate knows how to change a flat tire since I have no idea how to!

Milestones

Teddy is now sitting up on his own! Well, he still tumbles over occassionally. He is also eating solid foods! He has had cereal, peas, sweet potatoes, squash, carrots and pears. He's growing up so quick! Here are some pictures.

Halloween 2010

This year we went over to Aunt Cathy & Uncle Todd's house again for Trick or Treating. Originally Teddy was going as the Incredible Hulk but it was too cold so we found a last minute alternative of a warm Dragon. Nate was supposed to be a Fireman but over the course of all of our Halloween parties and activities he slowly started to lose interest in pieces of the costume. On Halloween he only wanted to wear the jacket.

These were the original costumes...

And these are what we ended up with for Trick or Treating...

Teddy just couldn't keep his eyes open any longer....

The last house of the evening had spooky music and lights so I was trying to film the house and Nate just took of running up to it without even thinking twice! He is getting so brave!

Playtime With Teddy

Teddy has started to be extremely playful lately. Here is a video of him enjoying his jumperoo and one of him rolling over and reaching for a toy. He's growing so fast!

4 Month Well Visit

Teddy had his 4 month well visit a couple of weeks ago and here are his stats:

  • Weight: 16 lbs. 4 oz. (75%)
  • Height: 25 1/2" (75%)

Nate was slightly bigger and taller at his age coming in at 17 lbs. 5 oz. (90%) and 27" (95%). Here are some recent pictures of the boys.

Nate's 1st Pony Ride!

The weather has been so gorgeous here that we decided to take Nate & Teddy to another farm/pumpkin patch this past weekend. This one even had pony rides! I wasn't sure if Nate would want to ride one but he did it! Here are some videos from the day.

Nate's 1st Field Trip - Boyert's Farm Oct. 2010

Nate had his first field trip with his preschool class! We went to Boyert's Farm where we went on a hayride into a pumpkin patch to pick out pumpkins and we had a tour of the farm and saw all of it's animals! Here are some pictures.

A Trip To The Fire Station

I recently joined the Brunswick Preschool PTA to get more involved with the school system and to hopefully meet more people for both the boys and myself! They host a bunch of different activities throughout the year and I was lucky enough to catch them before their tour of the local Fire Station. Here are a couple of pictures of Nate and his future friends. I'm not quite sure why he was holding his hat on his head like it was going to blow away!

Teddy The Tiger

Teddy's babbling has been sounding an awful lot like growling lately and I've been getting a kick out of it. Here he is on video.

Niagara Falls, NY - Sept. 2010

We took a trip to Niagara Falls, NY to introduce Teddy to his great grandparents on mommy's side. We spent time with Great Nana, Great Grandpa Teddy, Great Grandma Betty and Great Grandpa Donald. We also took the boys for their first trip to see the Niagara Falls and Nate got to go on the Maid of the Mist with daddy. Here are some pictures and videos from the trip.
