4 Month Well Visit

I had my 4 month doctor's appointment this morning and just wanted to let you all know where I stand on my growth!

Weight: 17.5 lbs (90th percentile)

Length: 27 inches (95th percentile)

Looks like I really am becoming a big boy! No wonder people pass me on the street and think I look more like a 6 month old! Here are a few photos. The first two are comparing me from a few days after mommy and daddy brought me home from the hospital to just a few days ago so you can see how I've changed. The next two are just pictures of me trying to perfect my sitting skills and the last one is of me eating Mr. Bunny while I was in my car seat.

New House Update

It looks as though they have started the frame of our new house! Here are a few pictures. We can't wait to see the finished product! Now we just need to get going on selling our place here in Chicago.

4 Months Old!

I turned 4 months old this week and mommy and daddy can't believe how fast I am growing! Here are some of my recent photos. As you can see I really enjoy chewing on my hands and drooling all over myself. Mommy hopes that it means that I'm teething. My 4 month check up isn't until next week so we'll update you on all of my stats after that.

"I surrender"

Mommy loves how I wake up in the morning after I've had a good night's sleep. I don't usually cry I just lift my head up and make some small noises until her or daddy come in to get me. Here is a little video of me in the morning.

Squeals of Excitement and Learning an Irish Jig

I have become quite fond of my toys lately. Here are a few glimpses of me squealing for joy and moving my legs like I'm learning an Irish Jig.

Visiting Family

Over the 4th of July weekend I took a road trip with mommy and daddy to Niagara Falls, NY so that I could meet my great grandparents. We also made a pit stop in Cleveland so that I could spend some time with my cousins.

I was making some faces at mommy while she was trying to keep me entertained in my car seat.

I love my cousins. I didn't know what to do with so many little people around me. I can't wait until we move closer so that I can play with them all of the time!

I was amazed that I was not the smallest of the bunch.......I was trying to tell Brooke that I felt her pain but I couldn't get her attention.

Here I am with my buddy Ryan. He is ready for me to crawl, walk, run and play with him!

Then it was off to Niagara Falls to meet my great grandparents. Here I am with mommy and my Great Granny Betty and my Great Grandpa Teddy.

Here we are with my Great Grandma & Grandpa Miller.

I had such a fun weekend!

My Impression of a Sea Lion

I think as I am getting bigger I am losing coordination with my attempt to crawl. Recently I look more like a sea lion trying to get back in the water. In this video I even try to eat my blanket like it's a poor seal that is trying to get away.

Blowing Bubbles

Lately I've discovered this new thing with my lips that causes bubbles to form.....sometimes I accidentally take it to an extreme and spit all over mommy and daddy. I find it quite entertaining, even to the point where mommy heard me doing it at 4:30 this morning in my crib.
